Do we Indians deserve Narendra Modi as our PM. An insight...

A country and it's people get the leader it deserves . Does this country  really deserve someone as competent as Rahul to be the next PM ? Probably the present PM pales in comparison to the young & dynamic leader who is accountable to none, answers no one and flaunts a legacy and sense of entitlement so willingly delivered on a platter by the so called junta who support him. His regular tirades spreading lies and canards in different rallies is so amusing and his goofups real fun to watch.

Thanks to the intelligence of a section of this so called electorate and media, who cares a damn about what happened to the multi scams that rocked the country, be it 2G 3G CWG, CoalScam, Westland and a long list of other scams, we have a citizenry who readily latch on to every false narratives dished out by a whole host of media & press who have been toiling 24×7 to create that hype and propaganda as though everything is wrong in this country.

Who cares what development has taken place in the country and no matter that this country leads in many parameters in the world and is ranked as among the fastest growing economy in the world, but will still attribute credit to the opposition for making a mountain out of a mole hill and will cling on to just that narrative that suits their agenda.

Who cares what happens to corruption so long as you can get your things done through bribes and amass wealth breaking all the rules. As long as you have an affluent section willing to grease palms of those who matter, to fill their own pockets with a " I scratch your back you scratch mine' policy, all other priorities will take a back seat and why should anyone bother?.

Who cares about swachh bharath when you have a citizenry not willing to cleanse their own mind and are willing to pawn their conscience and will do anything for a pittance. Who bothers about the swach abhiyaan to keep our surroundings clean and give a clean image to our country, as you will find thousands of people still littering the road and public places despite notices and banners being posted every where for keeping your surroundings clean.

Who cares about the multi govt schemes rolled out for the benefit of the poor and needy but still many will  harp on things not done which was never even attempted before in 70 years, be it revolutionary jandhan that gave every citizen a bank ac holder, or atal pension that gives life cover to the public upto 2lakhs or that sukanya yojana that takes care of young girl child and ensures there is money when she ready for marriage or that ujwala yojana where every individual below poverty line is assured of 1 free gas stove & cylinder.

Who cares what the ladies in villages did to cook, running around for firewood and burning their life out cooking in the smoke, which has now been solved thanks to the prime ministers Ujwala Yojana.

Who cares for those citizens who had to go out into the open to defecate and who bothers to think of those ladies who had to wake up early morning before others to go out to far flung places to attend nature's call braving risk of rape and molestation. All these problems have now almost been solved with toilets being built for the poor in every nook and corner in most villages.

Who cares whether 18450  villages that remained without electricity all these years got electrified and children for the first time were able to study without lantern & lamps. The modi baiters will still try to pick holes and point out the few odd houses that couldn't be electrified due to odd reasons.

Who ever even cares to ask how many have benefited from the prime ministers AwasYojana providing free house to those below the poverty line and how lakhs of people who until a few years back did not have a roof under their head now live in newly made houses provided by the government under PMAY scheme.

Who cares about demonitsation and other steps taken to control black money and hoarders, for this lobby are at hammer and tongs with this govt. trying to demean modi & prove to others that this was a misadventure rather than a bold step that brought in a sense of scare in all those who strutted around arrogantly showing and throwing their wealth around. Now everyone who used to stack their ill gotten and unaccounted money in their own homes inside lockers and in hidden cellars, are now compelled to come clean or face the wrath of law and tax enforcement agencies.

Who cares about the digital drive that revolutinised financial transaction and money transfer became so simple using a mob and with the UPI app Bhim, any transaction can be easily executed using UPI id be it for booking flight or train tickets or for that matter any ticket. No one talks of it.

Who cares what revolutionary step GST was that consolidated scores of various taxes into one and ensured that tax evaders had little room to manoeuvre and conceal their huge income from business. All that you get to hear is that GST is a flop for that is the news that is being bandied around.

Who even bothers to acknowledge the benami properties act that puts a hold on benami transactions and land deals or the bankruptcy and insolvency act enacted to put a leash on business houses who declare themselves bankrupt after swindling money from public to fund their business and then easily get away declaring themselves insolvent or bankrupt and evading the hands of law or accountability to debtors.

Who cares what all transformation & changes have taken place in the railways and the revolutionary steps taken that are all customer centric and despite the total facelift given to indain Railways the nay sayers keep harping & still try to find fault with the system that was steeped in corruption and lethargy prevalent all these years.

Who cares what all changes have happened in the procurement of ammunition and defense equipment, that the military was starved off, which has now been replenished and latest war equipments and bullet proof jackets bought, the demand for which was lying pending all these years due to empty coffers & reasons of failed dubious transaction for not getting the right commission as happened in the case of Rafale jet fighters deal which was kept in cold storage all these years. And when modi realised the urgency of the matter & got directly involved and did a govt to govt deal without intermediaries and brokers , you had Rahul Gandhi spread fake news and level false allegations on its procurement to stall the deal with ulterior motives in mind. No one bothers to ask why our defense preparedness was compromised by the congress govt by not proving necessary weapons & equipment to the defense forces all these years and still these very people are given all attendance while they roam around levelling flimsy charges.

Who cares what turn around has happened in the economy and how a cash starved country figuring in the list of fragile five  countries category during last govts tenure has now become a cash rich country with the gdp growing at a 7.6% rate, far exceeding china, and how india has now become the emerging and fastest growing economy in the world. Instead of acknowledging this achievement that too which happened in a short span of over 4years, one also overlooks how this same country was in a state of shambles during the previous govt with multi crore scams surfacing every other day and policy paralysis having crippled the govt functioning at all levels. 

Who cares how thousands of anti national NGOs were asked to shut down for their dubious dealings with zero accountability and the innumerable shell companies that also had to down their shutter on not being able to come clean and give a clear statement of their accounts.

Who bothers to acknowledge this govt for the 1000s of fake ration cards, gas connections , 13500 fake teachers that were unearthed due to the linking of aadhar which resulted in savings of 1000s of crores of rupees to the state exchequer. All fake accounts were weeded out of the system and legitimate beneficiaries were identified and credits of various govt schemes were passed straight to their accounts.

Nobody bothers to acknowledge how price of medicines of various genres have been drastically cut with the introduction of jan oushadi shops as also price of heart stents which costed more than a lakh of rs now being pegged at rs 35000/-. Same is the case with knee transplants the prices of which have come down drastically thanks to modis initiatives.Despite this you have a whole lobby discrediting his effort and only pinpointing minor lacunaes.

Nobody bothers to give credit to modi for the big infrastructure spend resulting in widening of roads, building of super highways, bridges and flyovers, innovative waterways with new cruise carriers introduced. The all round change is there for all to see but these nasty people & those hit by modis anti corruption drive keep asking where is the change, where is ache din.

Nobody stops a while to ponder on the various draconian laws brought in place to curb corruption and put a stop to money laundering and black marketing,. All they do is tarnish modis image by alleging that all money has been siphoned off to adani & ambani. Not for once do they mention that this very adani & ambani were close friends and companions of the Gandhi family during congress regime as well.

Nobody for once bothers to ask how a defunct legal system with obsolete laws not serving it's purpose was changed and many changes brought in the legal system removing all those laws that had served their purpose and were of no use anymore.

Nobody bothers to ask what happened to data and mobile call rates that got slashed drastically thanks to ambani whose jio connection ensured that for a cost of 300 rs one could get free data connection and do free calls anywhere in india for 3months. This is that very same ambani who they shamelessly blame, who revolutionised the mobile industry by making data and calls on mobile free and started his maiden venture providing free mobile and data service for one whole year. And wasn't it amusing to note that many among these very same critics were the first to buy jio Sims for free.

Nobody remembers how during earlier govt period gas cylinder supply was pegged at 9 per year. Now gas connections and gas cylinders are available on demand but nobody wishes to acknowledge that and you have the same lobby complaining that gas prices have skyrocketed coolly glossing over the fact that every month for a cylinder costing 750 a sum of approx 350 goes direct into their account which never happened before. The influential Lobbie's had the privilege of enjoying subsidy of more than 5 to 10 connections under one name and they used to make money out of it by selling additional cylinders during situations of regular low stock & supply.

Nobody seems bothered to note the sea change difference in various services offered be it the pass port services which has become so accessible, or the ease of travel with the udaan yojana linking small cities in the airline network reducing the time of travel to various destinations that was never connected through air, or the different newly introduced state of the art trains which makes travel by train a worthwhile experience.

While a large section are all ears to trivia and baseless allegations against modi and his govt very few show the attitude to counter these rumour mongers and doomsayers who paint a picture of gloom and doom.

Those who trivialise our PMs foreign relations initiatives and used to Mock his frequent foreign trips sit silent when his diplomatic initiatives worked wonders in the recent surgical strike after phulwama and bold and daring initiative by this govt. that broke the backbone of the jaish e mohammed terror camp in pakistan which indian fighter air jets pulverised and destroyed. Instead of crediting him and the govt for having shown the spine to call Pakistan's bluff and pay them back in the same coin, we have the same cabal of presstitues and Lutyens trying to play down his bold initiative and instead giving credit to pak PM for his diplomacy in having handed over our captured pilot whose mig21 took a hit & he had to eject into pak territory. Nobody sees the administrative finesse of this great man who through his stern message and no nonsense attitude  to pak coupled with his diplomacy drive ensured that all major countries including china were in full support of India's actions, and pressure was put on pak to return the pilot which they did within 3days. Such was the influence and power that modi wielded which is unprecedented.

 Looking back on to the days of the congress era, one fails to understand how people fail to note the difference of an earlier PM whose meekness was so visible and who just acted as an obedient servant to his masters and worked like a puppet for them. There is no comparison between the two but still you have people singing laurels for MMS while at the same time lambasting Modi in every possible way. This surgical strike showed to the world that india has a PM who is firm & bold and won't hesitate to go to war if provoked and also hit targets at will to root out terror camps where the need arose. Indias image that had slumped during Manmohan era now stands with it's head held high and now india is in league, rubbing shoulders with the mightiest and is being considered as the strongest democracy and a power centre and also a force to reckon with. 

This image makeover is thanks to modis initiative and nobody can deny him that credit. But despite such fortitude and skill you still have a section in the press & the lutyens circle trying to discredit him by saying the surgical strike was a failure and it was just hype and no substance. Such is the low level of political discourse in this country that out of hatred for this PM people have begun to show hatred towards this country by taking sides with pakistan, our enemy, and questioning the very armed forces that did the surgical strike seeking proof, thus demoralising the very armed force that protects our sovereignty against all odds especially against a rogue state like pakistan.

Despite a whole host of schemes and programmes targeting the poor being launched, be it the pension scheme for farmers or the ayushman medical care scheme ensuring free medical care to crores of citizens below poverty line or be it various insurance scheme that gives protection against accident or even death, or schemes for the elder citizens or programmes for the differently abled and a plethora of various schemes catering to every section of society with special focus on the poor, which is a sea change from the initiatives by earlier govts. But detractors, modi baiters and presstitutes continue to target this govt under one pretext or another spreading false news, running maligning campaigns and doing anything to stall his people friendly initiatives to put a spanner in his works and curb the surge of popularity and credibility that he has been able to sustain among the masses. But these very agents and elements try to paint a grim picture and discredit this govt despite the multifarious schemes and projects the list of which is endless.

As a conscientious citizen I feel it is my duty to awaken the people of this country who are either in deep slumber or else unaware of what all this govt has done for its citizens and the country. There is a whole Lobby of anti nationals hand in glove with foreign agents working overtime to weaken this country and they know under the prime minister ship of Narendra Modi it is a tough task. Hence these forces are putting in all their resources and money to create a wrong narrative to mislead the ordinary citizen who have minimum knowledge of the things happening on the ground. 

For a person with an unbiased mind it becomes very evident that Modi has stood by his policy of 'Sab ka saath sab ka vikas'. He has ensured prosperity for all appeasing none. This policy is far different from what the earlier govt used to do where they did everything within their reach to pamper one community and the past PM had the temerity to even say "muslims were entitled to first claim of India's resources". All this was done to pamper one community for vote bank politics.

In stark contrast the modi govt has ensured that every section of society was taken care of and no community in particular was pampered or appeased. His main focus has been the poor and the weaker section in society.

Despite being nipped at and tormented from all sides by the press and media so hell bent on trying to demean him, he has stood his ground brushing aside all criticism with the contempt it deserves and yet he has never showed aggression or tried to use vendetta to nail his enemies or critics, or else the likes of barkha dutt, Sagarika ghose, ayyub rana, shekhar gupta, Rajdeep sardesai, wagle Nikhil, Raveesh and many leading journalists wouldn't be running around Scot free spewing venom against him 24×7 and still continue to do so undeterred without the scare of govt clamp down.

This being the case and despite rising anger amongst his supporters for inaction against these presstitutes he has chosen to face all the criticism without any animosity, the true trait of a great leader. Despite having win various awards from different countries declaring him as the best Prime Minister and world leader not one leader in the opposition or the large section of press and presstitutes have shown the decency to laud him or appreciate his achievements. He continues to be the only Prime Minister who is adored and respected world wide while the same is not the case with his detractors within his own country. They still continue to demean and show him and the country in bad light to spite at him simply forgetting that by doing so they are demeaning their own country.

And finally nobody even mentions the hectic schedule of 18 hours of nonstop work that he puts in daily without even taking a days holiday all these years and it really needs superhuman strength, grit and resilience to continue to maintain this schedule non stop despite a thankless section of the population who still find it as a favorite pass time to criticise and troll and poke fun at him at every passing moment.

This leader deserves much much more respect. Whats most sickening and disheartening to note is that this very same person who is reverred and respected all over the world is taunted and ridiculed by a section of these very same people for whom he toils day in day out. 

I only hope some day some time all those who stood up to criticise him would realise their folly and acknowledge what a great leader he is, was and will remain.
